Description
“Hunter x Hunter” (HxH), a popular anime and manga series by Yoshihiro Togashi, follows Gon Freecss, a young boy who embarks on a journey to become a Hunter, an elite member of society, and find his father, a renowned Hunter.

Progress
I finished all of the arcs, but due to the author being ill I believe the anime has been put on hold. It’s also uncertain whether or not they’ll ever continue it in the future which is sad 🙁 Someone recommended I read the manga because it’s getting good, so I might soon!

Thoughts
It’s been a while since I watched this show too, so I’m a little forgetful. I loved it though, it was interesting to see Gon’s journey with his friends and how he navigated through all the obstacles he encountered. He didn’t start off super strong and overpowered like in other anime and I think the show does a good job with juggling all the different arcs. I never really felt bored, even with the filler episodes I was still interested because I wanted to learn more about the characters and their little side quests. The fights are interesting too, but nen confuses me sometimes. I still don’t know completely how it works which I’m embarrassed to admit, but I think I’ll definitely rewatch it at some point to refresh my memory.
